About the event

Are you feeling stressed or off balance? Join us in this 4-week yoga series focused on the theme of Blossoming Strength. In this series, we will dive into the ancient energy system, the Chakras, and learn how to use tools and practices of yoga in our daily lives for re-centering and grounding. As we expand our understanding of specific chakras and the elements correlated to each energy center, we can cultivate confidence and a deeper understanding of ourselves and our energetic anatomy. Classes will include a mix of guided meditation, breath practice, movement, and journal prompts.

Feel free to join for one class or the whole series. At each meeting, we will focus our attention on a different chakra. 

Class #1 - Planting Seeds 🌎

Alyssa is a C-IAYT yoga therapist, RYT 500hr, and reiki II certified. She was born and raised on Long Island, NY. She has been an athlete all her life and has a strong interest in nature and aligning with the cycles. Alyssa started to practice yoga in 2012 for her healing of stress-induced migraines. She later became hooked, reaped the benefits, and felt compelled to dive deeper and share the teachings with others. She teaches a wide age range and is mindful of making these practices accessible to all beings.

Alyssa's style is invitational and supportive as she guides you in exploring multiple layers of being, also known as the koshas. She empowers others to remember that we are whole and have the power to spark joy in our lives through awareness-based movements, meditation/breathwork + compassion, and kindness towards others and ourselves.

- Bring a yoga mat, journal and something to write with
