Cello Sound bath

Join us at West Rock Wellness for a deeply restful 90-minute Cello Sound Bath, led by music therapist and cellist Shannon Kiley. This immersive experience begins with gentle guided breathwork and offers a safe container to let go and be held by the deep tones of the cello. Unlike traditional sound baths, Shannon’s approach centers the cello as a vibrational tool—its warm, resonant frequencies gently soothe the nervous system, loosen physical and emotional tension, and invite a profound sense of peace. Come enjoy this mid-winter moment of pause, deep release, and inner stillness. Notes: Blankets, bolsters, and pillows will be provided. Doors to the space will open 20 minutes prior to the sound bath start; please give yourself enough time to arrive and settle prior to the start time.

q: What should I bring?

a: Blankets, bolsters, and pillows will be provided; participants are welcome to bring any additional comfort items that feel supportive. Consider bringing a special pillow or blanket, an eye mask, water, lip balm, a journal or art materials-- anything that will help you rest, reflect, and release. The time is yours to use as you wish.

q: What should I wear?

a: Wear comfortable and non-restrictive clothing that you feel good wearing. q: What if I'm late? a: In order to protect the tranquility of the container, late entry past 2:10 will not be permitted. Please make every effort to arrive at least 10m prior to the start time.

q: Where should I park?

a: There is a small amount of on-street parking near West Rock Wellness, but if there are no spots available, participants are encouraged to use the parking lot at the end of the block at the corner of Whalley Avenue and Blake Street. City parking is free on Sundays.
