About the Event

Community Grief Group

A Space to Be Witnessed, Seen, and Heal Together

Grief can be one of the most isolating experiences of our lives — yet it is something we all share. The Community Grief Circle is an open, community-based group for anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one. Whether your loss was recent or long ago, this is a space where your grief is welcome, honored, and held with care.

This group is not therapy, but rather a compassionate community gathering — a place to speak your truth, listen to others, and find solace in shared human experience. The group is co-facilitated by two Licensed Clinical Social Workers who have each personally experienced the loss of an intimate partner. They bring not only professional training, but a deep, lived understanding of grief's weight and complexity.

Who This Group Is For: This group is open to any community member who has experienced the death of a loved one — a partner, parent, child, sibling, friend, or anyone they have loved. We welcome losses from any point in life, recent or past.

Please note: This group is specifically for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one through death. It is not designed for grief related to divorce, job loss, life transitions, or the loss of a pet.
