Katrina L Sanyal, MA, LPC, RDT

Senior Clinician

Katrina works with people who have experienced recent traumatic events, and with those who are ready to resolve past traumatic experiences that still invade and control their present life.

Katrina offers a specialized EMDR intensives, which are extended sessions of 1.5 to 3 hours, conducted over several days, weeks, or months, designed for clients who are ready to commit to moving through a significant piece of therapeutic work in a focused and dedicated period of time. The extended format allows you to go deeper into a particular area of your life, stay with what emerges, and track real change from session to session. This may be the right fit if you know something important needs to change and you are ready to do that now, or if you have found that your work keeps hitting a ceiling in the standard 50-minute model.

Katrina's approach is direct, collaborative, committed, and engaging. She works best with you if you are ready to get to work, committed to real change, and looking for a clinician who will meet that commitment fully.

She has specialized experience and training working with survivors of sexual assault, adults and children processing recent trauma, and clients with dissociative systems.

Katrina holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling- Drama therapy from Lesley University. She has completed EMDR training with the Center for Excellence in EMDR. She speaks English, German, and Hindi.
