Bio & Treatment Approach
Shannon Kiley, MM, MT-BC, holds a Master’s degree in Music Therapy from Florida State University and has been a board-certified music therapist since 2011. Shannon offers services both in New Haven, CT, and online. She has practiced music therapy across a wide range of clinical settings, including hospitals, hospice, private practice, long-term care, home care, and school settings.
Shannon practices music therapy from a humanistic and holistic lens, viewing music as a unique and valuable tool for supporting human needs across the lifespan. She guides her clients in developing their use of music as a supportive resource, integrating mindful and somatic approaches.
Alongside her clinical work, Shannon is an award-winning musician, cellist, singer, songwriter, recording artist, and sound bath facilitator who believes that music is a human right connecting us with our highest selves.
