Sasha Lehrer is a somatic therapist and explorer. She believes in diving deep into the wisdom of the body to seek the source of both our joy and our pain. She seeks to help guide people to their own healing that is available through their body and soul’s own unique pathway.
Sasha has trained across a range of somatic healing modalities. She is a certified yoga teacher and Urban Zen Integrative Therapist and is currently a trainee in the Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner training program. She looks forward to blending this modality with her work as a dance teacher and yoga therapist. Sasha is also a co-founder of Ecstatic Dance New Haven and a soloist at the Isadora Duncan International Institute.
Sasha has extensive experience teaching in diverse settings from farm to forest, school to studio. She is a nature-connection mentor having worked at Two Coyotes Wilderness School and at Common Ground School for 8 years. Her work in the wilderness and her own deep connectedness with the natural world helps inform the way she works therapeutically with people, as an organic and playful art form in sync with the cycles and beauty of nature.
“We are here to make space for a more beautiful world, to live into a future that is regenerative, sustainable, whole and harmonious. We come together in a heart space, a circle of community, healing, celebration, transformation, and possibility. “
